In 1954 Douglas White and his wife Anna made their first Braughing Sausage. It proved to be very popular with the people of Braughing and East Hertfordshire. Since those days the recipe has remained the same and the sausages are still made using traditional methods. One thing that has changed though is the quantity, now on average 30,000 sausages are sold each week.
Ingredients:
Pork (65%), Water, Rusk (wheat flour, water, yeast, salt), Salt, Spices, Herbs, Emulsifier: E450b, Flavour enhancer: E621, Natural casings, Preservative: Sodium Sulphite
